Icon14 hey everyone, newbeee alert

Hi guys, Im new to the world of pocket pc and im hoping you can me.

i am sure this question has been asked and answered before, but iv searched and cannot find the answer.

I have an X5 2002 and im running tomtom nav 5, I decided to do a hard reset and format the CF card.
I reloaded tomtom and put the maps back onto the cf card. but when i run tomtom it cant find the maps,
I have tryed copying the maps thro active sync and a card reader but still no joy .
I have removed and reloaded tomtom also,

Any ideas, or am i just doing some thing very wrong.

Great site you have here also,

Thanks in advance

Paul

It sounds as it may be to do with the CF reformat.

Welcome to Aximsite!

You might want to soft-boot your Ax before trying to do anything else with the CF card. The only time I've ever observed a problem with a CF was if I removed it and plugged it back in - sometimes it won't synchronize back up with the device properly. A soft reset always fixes it.

HTH,
