Newbee here with some queries?

hi,

Just got a x50v as a gift. I have some queries.

1) Which is the most preferred handwriting software for dell axim?
2) Can I read native pdf files on my ppc after downloading the adobe software?

Finally, do I need to fix my active sync? I don't have any probs till now. Any takes from recent dell axim owners?

Thanks..

Rj

Welcome to Aximsite!
You should be able to read pdfs with the adobe reader for ppc. :approve:
Which version of AS are you using?

Are you referring to the transcriber, for example?

1) there are a few, try the built in ones first, then Calligrapher and tengo (technically a keyboard but very fast when you get the hang of it)

2) yes

3) if it works you don't need to fix it :)

Thanks guys.

I checked this link. If the pdf file is tagged, its straightforward I guess. Otherwise I have to go rthu mobile device folder.

I have to check for the AS edition. Buts there's no rpoblems till now. Just a few hrs I have it.

Have to try Calli and tengo though.

Should be able to connect at home and at Starbucks. Sometimes I find that I have to use the Odessey client when I connect to wifi away from home rather than the Dell wifi utility (Both are included with the X50v software!)
