So I've noticed that the Axim touchscreen is extremely sensitive to touch by the stylus - just a featherlight tap will do the trick. Does this sensitivity degrade over time? What if you are involved in doing an activity that requires a lot of tapping - is that bad for the screen? Do screen protectors help maintain the sensitivity? What happens if you tap too hard? What will "break" the touchscreen?
Thanks.

Wow! So many questions! Ok, one at a time:
1. I've never seen any degradation over time. Haven't heard of it, either, so I doubt it happens unless you have a hardware failure.
2. You can end up scratching the screen over time. It's just a part of life-a little dust, a heavy hand and there you go.
3. Screen protectors can prevent the scratches and also desensitize the screen. I use WriteSHIELDs, and they give the screen a little more "drag" so that the stylus moves more like a pencil on paper than a slick nylon stylus over glass.
4. I've never heard a screen break because of a hard tap, but anything's possible.
5. Most screens break because we drop or sit on or bend or do some other abuse to the unit.
So, I would recommend screen protectors, specifically WriteSHIELDS for their friction, reusability and durability. Others may have other choices.
