OK.. figured out how to recieve infra red, can't see anywhere to beam something to another PDA. Any ideas on where to find info to beam a file or picture or anything to someone else?

Just pick the file you want to send and hold stylus on file there should be an option to beam file..

when you hold the devices ir against each other you should hear a sound when the devices find the ir.

hey it worked. Thanks everyone. Wish I'd had this forum this weekend in the airplane, I hunted for this option for over an hour. Was wondering where the time savings were for these things!

Next time I fly them I'll try it definately.
Don't think the airlines are going to give that option to the pilot's... I think there are other things they want us doing....

oymd, you probably need to send the contacts from the Nokia,
when they are on their way, the ax will ask you if you will accept the files.

oymd, is the ir turned on on the nokia, usally you need to turn the ir on before it works on cellulars.
then try to send the contacts from the nokia to the ax.
