Getting low on memory- from installs

So, when one installs a file...the computer automatically installs the .CAB file somewhre on the axim correct?

Where can these files be found and deleted? Its the only thing that is taking up room on my main memory- down to 107mb now. I install all my programs on an SD card....so memory isnt a problem...but i'd love to free it up.

You can use the search function in memory to search for files bigger than 64KB. Usually I copy the CAB files to my pc and transfer them to my axim via activesync. This way, I always know these files are in My Documents. You can also use CabInstl to select where you want to intall things in the future.

nope .. it vanished into thin air ... unless you tweaks the registry or use TWEAKS2K2 where you have the option to KEEP the CAB file

unless you did the above .. all of whatever taking up the space in your device right now are actually required !

and the CAB is actually taking up space on your DESKTOP SYSTEM when you install VIA the acticesync route...!!! not the Axim ! ;)
