Worried Use the SD Card for Data?

Hey Guys.

I just got a 256 Meg SD Card for my Ax. My Internal Memory is full with all the contacts, email, ect. In there. I only have 2 apps installed and they are VERY small ones.

I have 100 emails that aren't syncing and are unresolved and I know it is because my available memory is 0.00.

I am looking for a way to tell the Ax to use the 256 meg for storage.

I have tried telling it to Pocket Outlook to store the attachments on the storage card, however when I do that, it just uses the internal storage card, not the one I have inserted, and I can't find a way to tell it to use the SD card.

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Jason

yeah.. what cmstech said. Someone out there has to know how to use the SD card. Also.. why use SD over CF... or should we? Best Bye has SD cards on sale, $39.99 after rebate for the 128MB card. Is that big enough to actually put stuff on?

this is the newbie section.. send help!

Why use SD over CF? There are lots of other cards for CF, like WiFi, GPS, BT, even USB. Use SD for memory, keep the CF slot for those uses.

As for the files problem, can't help you there, but have you cleared out the deleted folders? I think it works the same on the Axim it does in the PC, that deleted emails are not actually deleted, just moved to a trash folder from which you have to empty them later.

Also, try a soft reset to free up any "lost" memory. Some programs have serious memory leaks, and a Soft Reset will reclaim that space for you.

Also, the attachments go to Main Storage or Built-In storage, but you can always move them from there to the SD card for yourself and free up the space.
