SD card replacement procedure?

Okay, I've searched all through the site and cannot find a recommended procedure for replacing an SD card. I have an X30 with a 512M SD card that I want to replace with a 1G SD card.

Do I simply use the ActiveSynch backup routine, then install the new SD card and then run the ActiveSynch restore? Or, do I need to use an external copy program and copy the old SD to the new SD? Or, do I need to install the new SD card and reinstall anything that is on it?

Help? Thanks.

Dave.

If you have a card reader, simply copy the contents from the old card onto your PC, then from your PC onto your new card. If that's not an option, you can just reinstall the programs you want to your new card and manually copy files, etc. using the Explore feature in AS. The AS backup/restore will backup/restore everything, not just the contents of your card.

Best bet is to copy to PC, and copy to new card.
If you can't do that through a card reader, you can do it through Active Sync (just click explore button on active sync, and copy files - this will take a lot of time, but I think it is better than reinstalling everything).
