data loss

Not again!

After turning off my Axim and changing batteries (yes, it was fully charged) I get a message saing to push "contacts" button to delete data or "inbox" button to cancel. I pushed cancel and the unit locks up with the dell logo on the screen. Help me Mr. Wizard!

Great suggestion! Thanks. I found most of what I lost. Unfortunately, I'm paranoid about exchanging batteries since I still don't know what caused the data loss.
