I'm asking this for my sis. She experienced low battery, and the unit shut down itself. When she recharged the unit to full battery, all her calendar and task entries were lost.

I thought that being a WM 5.0 device, all datas should still be intact when the battery is low?

How can she restore her calendar and task entries? Are there any programs that do this? She does not keep a backup.

Did she sync the PDA to her desktop? If she did, it should have backups of the data and should be able to sync back to the PDA.

It's odd that she lost the data - yes, you shouldn't lose anything in ROM in WM5. Unless she was working on the calendar and task entries at the time and for some reason, they weren't saved to the ROM yet. Even then, there should be older entries, so it sounds like something got corrupted.

Other than that, no other way to retrieve the data that I know of.
