SD Card or CF Card?
I am going to get more space by buying sd or cf card. My logic: sd card, because cf card for expanding capability of my axim. But I've heard some bad issue about sd card on axim. Am i right? Btw, 256 Mb would be enough?

First, the only issues that most people have had with SD is with Sandisk SD. Second, I would suggest doing this as it is what I do, I have a smaller (64 MB) SD card for programs, drivers, and such, and then a larger (512 MB) CF for movies, mp3, and other large items. Then I can take out the CF when I use wifi, and still have programs available to me because of the SD. Honestly, how often are you going to need to watch a movie and use a wifi card? As for the size, it just depends on what you need and want to due.

I perfer to use SD slot for memory cards and the CF slot for Wifi and GPS. I have a Scandisk SD card and have not had any problems with it.

My order for sd card 256 mb is on the way on dell site. But if really this is sandisk should I return it and change with other brand name? For some people it is ok, but maybe no for others. I need more opinions about sandisk! C'mon folks share your idea about using sandisk sd card!

I would suggest returning a sandisk SD if for no other reason just to be careful. A lot of people have had problems, but a lot of people have also been fine with Sandisk SD. However, it will only get harder to return the longer you wait to do so. If you don't mind a little risk, try out the Sandisk to see if it has any problems.

Go SD if you use the CF slot for GPS and/or Wifi

And, Lexar makes great SD......I'd steer clear of the Sandisks....have read quite a few negative posts on them

Hey folks - so you can use the SD card while using the CF slot for WiFi? If so, i'll invest in a large SD card rather than continuing to purchase CF cards and keep it in all the time so that the CF slot is free for the WiFi card and i'll keep programs on the SD card. Let me know if there is anything that could be problematic about that setup. Thanks. :)

The setup you describe is exactly the one I have (except, in addition to using the CF for WiFi, I also use it for an ethernet card at my wired-only work). The only thing that may be problematic is the Sandisk issue discussed at the top - basically, at this point in time, I would avoid Sandisk sd memory cards.
