size difference ipaq 5455 vs axim

i havent held an axim or used one, i have used the ipaq though, is the size difference noticable between the two? which one is bigger? I was at compusa playing around with the ipaq and I thought it was pretty small. BTW i wish dell would just sell their products at a store. I'd have mine by now instead of wait for their crappy shipping

DELL AXIM:
Dell's sleek, ergonomically designed Axim X5 handhelds, with color screens, metallic silver finishes, and rubberized side grips are stunning to look at and a pleasure to hold. Weighing in at only 6.9 ounces (196 grams) and measuring only 5" x 3.2" x 0.7" (128mm x 81.5mm x 18mm), the Dell Axim X5 handhelds fit easily in your pocket and are priced to fit your pocketbook.

iPaq:
Dimensions :
Length of unit (without LAN antenna): 5.23 in. / 133.0 mm
Length of unit (with LAN antenna): 5.43 in. / 138.0 mm
Weight
7.26 oz. / 206 grams

How can anybody compare the size from personal experience? Anybody who has an Axim would never consider also buying an inferior ipaq. :)

I used to own an ipaq, it's thinner, but bigger, the axim fits better in your hand I think, but still "Big" compared to palms.

I like it.

I have handled both and the Axim is noticibly bigger but not overly big. The diference is that to get the functionality of the Axim on the Ipaq, you will need the cf sled which adds considerable size.
