WM2002-Style Nitifcations in WM5?
I recently upgraded from an Ipaq1940 to an Axim x51v, and I miss the old notifications! I can see how some people may have thought they were intrusive, but some of us want their notifications to fill the whole screen and demand that the user deal with it before doing anything else. In other words, I want my alarms to be alarming! But now they hide on the bottom of the screen and get buried by other apps.
OK, enough ranting. I was just wondering if there was a setting or program that would make the notifications more... assertive, like they used to be.
Also, in a related matter, I find that I often turn the volume down when I'm playing games and I forget to turn it back up again, so when notifications go off I don't hear them. Is there are program that will automatically change the volume back to a default setting after a certain amount of time?
