Converting .pwi???

Hey folks, I've searched but can't find...

How do I convert .pwi files (ie, NOTES files) to desktop .txt or .doc or .rtf format? I took some notes recently, copied them to my desktop, and they're all garbage. Apparently, I need a .pwi converter.

Hmmm, I would have thought it would convert it back... Did you use ActiveSync to copy them or did you copy them though a card reader?

I used ActiveSync to EXPLORE the Ax, then COPIED and PASTED the file to my computer. I couldn't find any other way to do it. Is there another way?

Open up ActiveSync and go to the options. Next click on the Rules tab and open up the conversion settings. Next click on the Device to Desktop tab and scroll down to you see a type called "Inkwriter/Note Taker/Notes Document" and highlight it. Select edit and you now can select what you want to convert it to when you copy it.

Well, the files converted OK. Leave it to MicroSoft to come up with a file format incompatible with everything else on the planet.

Vista & synchronization

Hi, guys. I have Vista on my computer. Vista (Mobile Device Centre) synchronyzes only my notes in folder "My documents". How I can make Vista synchronyzes notes from others folders?
