Help Converting from Palm to Axim

I'm a Palm V user and I just purchased the Dell Axim two weeks ago. I'm having a very difficult time transferring my contacts to the Axim. Can someone explain in simple step by step instructions the best way to accomplish? I've called DELL and they referred me to this site. Pocketmirror or Cadenza cannot help either. Thanks for your help in advance.

SDavis,

I've just gone through the same process (from M105 to Axim). I read al the posts on the newsgroups saying that I had 'pocketMirror' on my Palm CD, but I couldn't find it for love nor money.

It is there, but it is built into the install for the Palm desktop.

If you re-install the Palm desktop over your existing installation, you will get to a stage where you are prompted to either "sync with outlook" or "sync with palm". If you select "sync with outlook" and complete the installation, then sync your palm, then do an active sync with the Axim. You should find all your dateBook & address details have been copied to your Axim.

It worked for me. Good luck!
