This is a real newbie question, please forgive me but what apps HAVE to be installed in the main memory and which can you put on a SC card? I need to free up some room on my main memory

I've found that a lot of appz can be put on cards. The ones that you can pretty much guarantee will work on cards are the ones that only have one file, the exe. But hey, if it doesn't work you can always delete it, just don't delete the original files

Just about any ap that installs through Active Synch can be stored on an SD card. The only aps that should not be put on a card are aps that wake up the Ax. (Anything that controls appointments & reminders, like Agenda Fusion, also alarm clocks.)

To install on an SD card, insert the card in your Ax, then connect your Ax to your PC. On the PC, go to Active Synch/Tools/Add Remove Programs. Remove the program if it is in RAM. Then install the program. When you are asked if you want to install in the default directory, say no. Then it will give you the option to install in your SD card.
