Worried Cleaning the Screen

So I want to clean my screen before I put on the Screen protector. What should I use for this?

I got a little "Eyeglass Repair Kit" with a little tissue and some liquid.. The liquid is a Lens Cleaner that contains some alcohol I think.. Is it safe to use it? It doesnt say anything about TFT / Touchscreen .. hmm

Everything I have heard is that you should not use lens cleaner on an Axim screen. In my experience (which is admittedly limited), a clean, non-abrasive cloth (maybe slightly dampened) is all you need.

I agree with Doug.
You do not want to apply any liquid directly to the screen.
Taking you time with a clean, non-abrasive cloth is the best method.

i used the classic "ahhhhhhhhhhhh" to fog the screen and then wipe with a microfiber cloth followed by a blast of canned air

Yeah, I am usually on the train, so the best I can do is a quick swipe at the dust with my tie. If nothing else, this usually rearranges the dust. :)

Soft cloth, no liquid.

I do sometimes use LCD screen cleaner; i.e.: couple of bucks from Staples.

If I use the screen cleaner, applied sparingly to a soft cloth, very sparingly!

I use a eyeglass cleaning cloth packets. The kind that come prewrapped up from factory and are a little damp but have a lint free cloth.
Or I use compressed air...........

sleeve to shuffle the dust to one side;
I really need to take off my screen protector and clean it good and put it back.
When I do that, I clean the screen with a clean cotton t-shirt.
