Notebook or Desktop for Installations
I am curious as to how others have their Axim/computer set up. Since many folks have both a desktop and a notebook along with their Axim, the question becomes, which machine do you use to do your Axim installations?
Whichever machine you choose will have the extra HD and Registry overhead which could slow it down, albeit perhaps not even a noticable amount, but it does use up HD space. To me, this is unwanted clutter.
Unfortunatley, not all apps have cab installers. I know that you can take the cab that the exe installed created and save that for future use as your own cab installer, but by that time, you have already "cluttered" your system. A subsequent removal from your computer generally still leaves around little droppings.
So, which method do you prefer, and why? Notebook, desktop, both or only apps with cabs?
