I have a Dell Axim X51v using the latest version of pocketbreeze. This may be a simple question, but I cannot figure out skinning. I go to the Pocketbreeze site and download sample skins. I transfer them to the Axim. I set Pocketbreeze to load the skin. Exit out of the configuration program. No problem. Except the display looks the same no matter what skin I select. Am I wrong to expect the display to look like the sample screenshot? Do I need to set something else on the Axim? I've read around various sites. I still cannot figure it out.

Any Help would be appreciated.

The only thing that a PocketBreeze skin will change is the tab icons and such in PocketBreeze. To skin the top and bottom bars of your device, like most of the screenshots at sbsh's website, you will need Wisbar Advance 2 from Lakeridge Software. The background or wallpaper is changed through the Today Settings applet using tsk files.

The screenshots on my View MyPDA show changed PocketBreeze tab icons, changed iLauncher application icons, and changed top and bottom bars.

I do not have any .tsk files active nor any skins active, nor WisBar installed.
