Dim on startup

When I turn on the Axim, half the time the brightness isn't controllable with a tap. I have to go into setting>brightness, and adjust it that way. There has to be a way to control the brightness when you first turn it on.

Suggestions?:crooked:

Are yu pressing and releasing the power button or are you holding it down a second or two. The Axim will come up in a real dim mode if you hold the button down a sec or 2.... try just press and release...

Chris runs this site with minimal advertising and NO popup's. I'm sure he does this because he loves each and every one of us like a brother and sister. However, in an effort to keep this a free site, never to charge for membership, there is a small link at the bottom right side of the page where we have the ability to make a contribution via paypal to return some love to Chris in this continual love fest...

Wow...I didn't know that. I will donate now! I'm just a newb to the site and didn't realize someone actually cares about us that much to do something like this on their own.
