Background pic stuck!

My fault I am guessing. I picked a large picture to put on theme Switcher and it is there - for life it appears.

I deleted the source photo but that didn't help. Also did a soft reset and what was the first thing I saw after the Dell Logo ~ so I have tried selecting a new background but it never shows up now. HELP!!

hmm never heard of this problem!! do you use a program like pocket facelift or something similar? try shutting it down and see what happens!

try generating a new theme and sending it to your device through AS. That should do the trick.

Okay, that didn't shake it. I just did a hard reset last night and got everything back the way I want it , , , this is sooooooooo irritating:exc:

Opps, forgot to mention. I do have Theme Switcher and I put the pics on my CF card. The partial picture that is stuck is also on my CF card. The top and bottom stripe and the lettering will change when I hit the "tap to switch" option. Weird, huh!

OK help an ignorant and lazy axim user out please. I have a large pic of Spongebob that i would love to use as a background screen for my Ax. It is already on my PC but how do I get it to transfer over to my Ax and set it as background screen?

I could tell you how NOT to do it ~ look for info on size of the picture. I think that can make or break you!

I think I can make it smaller, it is a digital picture that I took with my camera. I think I can that is lol.

Celebrate - here was my solution. My husband found it, lucky man, first time he got to play with my toy :-) Anyway, went to the "home"button, today screen and there at the bottom is "Use this picture as the background with a box to check. I had unchecked it earlier but it had gone back to being checked - sneaky thing! Anyway, unchecked it and all is well. Just incase anyone else ever has that problem!
