Question updated x50v to wm5, looks good and fast, so will it fail soon?

I just upgraded to WM5 on my x50v, seems nice and even benchmark scores of gfx system impreved a lot...
but I have only 3 days ppc experience with 2003se , will WM5 malfunction soon? or? what to look for?
I cannot see any perfomance loss, but I don't know more about ppc either...
what do u suggest?

edit:
oh I noticed a bunch oh hacks I should do to make it work better...
not for me, I just need a stable ppc... restoring back to 2003se...
maybe I get a x51v, that does not have those wm5 probs, right?

also I am wondering about the sktools bitmap benchmark... 2003se scored 568, mw5 scored ~1580 ... is this real?

Most people that have upgraded their x50v to wm5 have had problems. If you are having success with wm5 then try it for a while and see if any problems develop. You may want to roll back to wm2003se which is more stable.

in my experience, my x50v got slower and slower and s l o w e r with WM5, not to mention degraded battery life - went back to 2003SE and it was night and day all over again. my suggestion is to stick with 2003SE on the 50 series and get a 51 if you need the functionality of WM5.
ps - i have a 51v now and i swear that to 50v with 2003SE was faster and more reliable. i guess more is not always better, but i do like the fact that i can run the battery completely down and not lose data.
