What's everyone's Killer App?

Hi All,

I'm currently preparing myself for my baby's arrival and am getting together all the software and re-encoding movies (which is giving me a cricked neck). Just wondered what everyone's killer app is. MVP obviously, genesis/SNES/MAME emulators? Browser? Other media players? Games? Terminal emulation? (can you connect to a console port?) could be useful but demand a keyboard. Basically what makes you love your X5?

My favorite application would either be Pocket Facelift (because I like to customize my computers) or Pocket Backup Plus (safety measures are always good). My favorite game right now is Exit Nights. My favorite emulator is Morph Gear. My Axim pretty much meets all of my needs for entertainment and organization except that I don't have enough room for alot of movies. :D

Exit Nights is awesome. I also purchased Fade and am enjoying that one as well.
Other apps:
Facelift
uBook for reading multi format ebooks
ewallet for storing passwords, etc

I've tried Journal Bar a few times but it always seems to slow down my Axim so I keep removing it.. but I like the features it has.

Fade is a great game, I'm also playing Argentum - which is fantastic. My favorite app is probably WISBar - as I've customized it with everything that I could want.

I'm currently evaluating a copy of a Medical Chart program for the PPC...it has some potential, though I'd like to see a few changes that would better suit my own use.

Hey, I just noticed that I'm now a Member! Doesn't mean that I know anything more than I did as a Newbie! Still, it's nice to reach a goal, albeit a small one at that.

Sounds nerdy, but my fav app that I could not do without is the 'Switcher Bar'. Simple, but very useful.

:D

I use notes the most.
Second is a list program like Notetree or Trenotes.
Third is the calendar, Supercalendar in my case.

for the geeky Pagan, Ephemeris - a freeware moonphase program

I’m also addicted to Bookworm, one of the great popcap games for the PPC.

and I spend an inordinate amount of time on Messenger (having keyboard really helps for this)

Taiyoukei is a free astronomy program that is great. It also gives the moon phases, and the different equinoxes (it gives the exact date). It even gives you the time of sun rise and sun set.

Dashboard is a great program.....but thanks to a friend of mine I soon realized what a huge memory pig it is.....
It will eat about 3 1/2 mb's of program memory just to get it up and running!
