Something strange happed today and wiped out all my icons and links to programs
on my Sd card

The card and programs all run fine from the card if i use file explorer or Total comamder to start them up but i would like them back in my Programs on my today screen folder again.

Any help is apppreciated

So do you mean the icons in the Start menu turns into some generic icons? If you can still run them from the Start menu, then it is ok. In fact it is because the start menu cannot read the icons from the card within a specific time, so some generic icons have been used. You can refresh the start menu by changing the content of the start menu in Settings, but likely the problem reappears after full power off or soft reset.

No what mean is all the programs on my Sd card have dissapeard from my start menu under the programs tab.

How do i recreate these lnk files ?

Add shortcuts back to \Windows\Start Menu\Programs

Talk about tedious what a pain wish there was some program i could use to do this i probbly have 20-30 programs to recreate then rename since it treats the naming as shortcut to.

any one know of anything that will do this easy ?

Also how do i setup file assocations again ? so all i do is click a file to run it
