As for those having problems accessing certain sites or features of those sites, there are a number of issues to be aware of.
1) The pocket version of IE does not allow opening multiple browser windows. If a site is configured to open a link in a new window it will not work on your PDA.
2) The pocket version of IE also does not support newer HTML and scripting commands. It is compatible with IE 3.2 (which is old) rather than support the same features IE 5 or 6 support. If a site is developed to use these newer capabilities, your PDA will not be able to execute them. For example, this site uses some JavaScript code that does not work on pocket IE.
3) Some web sites detect the version of browser you are running to deliver specific content for that browser. The pocket version of IE returns IE version 3.2 to these "browser detection" routines. You can alter that and "trick" some web sites into letting you in, although you may still be faced with commands that do not work.
