I have seen many today screens from different members in which there are shown a lot of different icons (shortcuts i guess) contiguous to the default bloutooth and wifi shortcuts. How can i customize that?
Thanks in advance.

The screen shots on my website show icons placed there by iLauncher, done like this and described further here.

This forum is great. Thank you for your quick response. I'll tray free trial of ilauncher, it looks more versatile.
Can it be done manually, i mean by modifying registry values?

No registry modifications are needed to use iLauncher
If you are asking if icons can be placed on the system tray by user modifications to the registry, it is unlikely since it is not supported by the base operating system in and of itself so some additional code would probably be needed to manage them.

iLauncher has many, many features besides simply placing icons onto the system tray. You will not find an equivalent freeware product. However, if all you are looking for is the point solution of placing icons on the system tray, there is PMHPowerToys as referenced in the third post.

I started using it 4 days ago. not WM5 compliant but does work. It only has the ability to fit 9 icons, in addition to BT, WLan & Odessey Cllent. I use Schema from SK Software (under $10) to create scripts (buttons that reset, sleep,BT on, off WLan on,off, radio (all) on, off) that can be placed on the Today screen via any 3rd party Today mod apps (I use Resco Today) I love one click toggle of Wlan. Schema allows BT to auto on when AS starts and Turn off when I close it. Free is nice but sometimes a few bucks buys nice features.

His Launcher (not for WM5 but works fine) allows (may I say unlimited?) lots of icons. To add/remove ons, it must be done through Explorer or AS Explore. It adds a folder, Launch, and any shortcuts found there will appear on Today. It has a command in Launch to auto copy ALL of Windows/Start Menu/Programs to Launch-lots more than typical user so I found it best to delete the autocopy BEFORE activating. It is easier to copy Start Menu items in than to remove them. It depends on you and how many icons you want. To activate, Settings/Today/Items and check Launcher.
How did you delete the auto-copy? I'm having this issue too, Launcher copies too many icons into the screen and my launcher folder is empty!
Ok I was able to delete the extra icons by disabling the option that was hiding the shortcuts in file explorer.
