How to I watch video from www.tv-link ?

http://www.tv-links.co.uk/

From my home PC no problems but when I try and watch it on my X51v
and select one of the videos, it asked me to download

"Download the 14.1KB file "flvplayer.swf"

I did download it to my compact flash card but I still cannot view the
video from this site.

I would apprecitate someone giving this a try.
I was trying to watch the 1st Startrek Enterprise

You have to download the .flv file and convert it to mpeg and then you can play it. Thats the easiest way.

Can't download the videos.

This site won't let you download. I am sure there is some software
that can make this happen.

I think the site is designed to let you watch the video on the fly.
I know on my desktop PC the file does not end on my PC.

This site is really cool and I would like to be able to watch it.
Any additional help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Ken

Depending on the link on TV-Link, you can download the flv file onto your pc, convert it and then transfer it to your axim. As was mentioned, using the downloader extension in firefox on your PC will allow you to save the flv. you can also access the downloader site from the web here. Downloader then explains how to convert the flv file using superC, available here. Good Luck.

Still confused

I'm still out in left field on this one.

Are you saying I will download the full movie, hundreds of megabytes,
convert it and load it into my X51V ?

I don't think this is what's happening on my desktop. I am seeing this
video in "real time"

Can anyone else explain to me what he is trying to say.

I already use the program SUPER and it does convert formats
but this is of the full video. I don't think I want to do that, I want
to watch it real time like a tv.

thanks
Ken

I don't know of a program that will allow you to stream the video to the ppc. So id someone else knows of one please chime in. What I described will allow you to save a program and view it on your ppc. This is great for those long plane or train rides. This is not what is happening on your pc when you watch it.

Yes, you will save the file and convert it. I DL some hour long (45min) videos at about 150,000 mb, after conversion they were at about 85,000. I move these over to my CF card when I want to view them.
