I ordered my Axim Basic last night. I can't wait to get it and start playing with it. I look forward to getting new ideas on how and what to use it for from the people on this site.

This may actually happen. My wife wanted one after we bought her brother a Clié 3 years ago. We... I mean SHE... played with it for awhile just to make sure it works and she kept on raving how convenient it is compared to her carrying her FiloFax around. So I ended up buying her a pocket PC and she loves it. :)

I believe this has happened many times, I mean seriously WHO could resist the AXIM.
The Checklist:
Day to day stuff, notes, contacts, etc- GOT THAT
Music- GOT THAT TOO
Video- OF COURSE
Pictures from Digital Camera- SD or CF?- NO PROBLEM
Games- WHAT YOU LIKE NES, ATARI, ETC????
Grill a burger- NOT YET, BUT I DOWNLOADED A RECIPE TO MY LIL BUDDY......

It is now only a week until my axim arrives (or so they say). I can tell you that while ordering the Axim is nice, waiting for it is horrible. I want my little toy NOW. I really wish you the best of luck with finding a diversion to ease your pain with.
The part about the waiting is all to true. In my case it is worse. I already had an Axim advanced in March, but returned it because I thought I wouldent use it enough. Boy was I wrong now I carry around a big day runner all the time instead of my small buddy. I just ordered my second Axim advanced on Friday and they tell me Jul 3 it will be mine. All with the new OS and everything.
