i have a kyocera 2135 and the following socket card:
*
Hi-Speed DPC for Pocket PC's - Kyocera
Product Number: DP3091-378
*
Kyocera 2235, 2255 (Hi-Speed Phone) Data Burst up to 144 Kbps
Kyocera 2035, 2135, 3035 (Data Speed up to 14.4 Kbps)
************
i can access my earthlink dialup isp account perfectly every time (approx 25 times without any problems). using the 2135 and the socket dpc.
************
i can NOT access my verizon isp which is free with mobile office.
*
i have spent approx 4 hours with verizon tech support - techs could not find anything wrong with my configuration.
*
i have left socket messages in both email/voice. socket has only responded in email. socket has not provided any solutions. the 2135 and the dpc are supposed to be compatible with verizons 14.4kb isp connection. the software provided with the dpc provides a wizard for verizon express network (144kb) and verizon qnc (14.4kb). the verizon qnc wizard was not successful for me.

socket communication has provided very little support in this matter. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for your help.

look up the .pdf for verizon at this link

http://www.supplynetwireless.com/drivers.cfm

the .pdf shows how to set your phone and pda to work on both the express and standard network.

If you have a KWC 2135 phone it is Express Network Capable..

To access the 144k you must be in a express network area or it will fall back to 14k

hope it helps
