I don’t know if anyone has ever started a thread about which programs, plug-ins, etc., that must be saved to either BIS or MAIN MEMORY. Being someone who is completely new to pocket pc’s (I have a brand new Axim x51v), I’ve been perusing the forums to try to find a list of applications that should be saved to either BIS or MAIN MEMORY and have come up with these few so far. I think it would be very helpful for lots of people if a comprehensive listing along these lines could be created by adding to those items that I have listed below, since this way we would also know which programs could be placed on storage cards.

Items that must be installed to BIS:

BetaPlayer
MemMaid
Pocket Informant

Items that must be installed to MAIN MEMORY:

Today Plug ins
Contact Breeze
Pocket Breeze
Spb Pocket Plus
Weather.
Wisbar

Question: Can the Softmaker Office program (Textmaker and Planmaker) be run from a memory card of should it be saved in BIS or MAIN MEMORY?

edit: BTW, most if not all of the programs you listed can be installed on storage cards.
