Dear all,

2 weeks ago, my familly offered me a splendid axim x51v for my birthday. I am very happy, it is a wonderfull toy !

there is a few things that miss for my personnal use, and i don't know how to get them.

It is mainly shortcuts on the today screen. There is a lot of available space before the wifi and bluetooth icon, and i would like to see here :
- a shortcut (or even better : a slider) to change brightness
- a shortcut to switch screen to landscape
- a shortcut to soft reset the devise
- a shortcut to make a full power off of the device

Is it possible ? is there some freeware or registry entries to perform this ?

Also, i have tryed tengo and found it great, except that I haven't found how to get an azerty Keyboard with it. Do you know the trick ?

At the moment, i am using the on screen keyboard to input text, and i have set it up to propose me up to four words while typing. I find this to be very limited since there is a lot of word that exists and that are not proposed in this list. Is there a way to update the dictionnary that is used for this feature ?

I also would like to have on my axim a french-english / english-french dictionnary. Do you know a good free solution ?

Spb pocket plus offers a great customisable today screen'
Battery pro plus is the same, I like the latter, a tabbed customisable today screen that offers by default all of your normal shortcuts without hitting start.

also iLauncher will do what you want on the today screen. it rocks. you can get a Huge discount on it in the forums here somewhere. or pm amitreg for it. and for the dictionary just google it and you should come up with some stuff.

I think this freeware, Powercheck does exactly what you need, try it and tell me how did it went.
