There should be a link on that yahoo page to use older version page. The other option is some sort of registry change to make websites think you are using IE 6. I am sure someone will post the registery change for you or you can search this site for it.

Don't be. I didn't know there is a Mobile Yahoo! until I read your post. I wish there is a "Mobile Yahoo! Mail" option.

**Just read a post from Forge from other thread, there is a Mobile Yahoo! Mail

http://pg1.yahoo.com

Thanks, Forge.

I'm able to access Yahoo mail, but I cannot access Yahoo Messenger. It keeps on trying to connect but nothing happens. Does anyone else have this problem?

Thanks,

Gigi

It's not just you, it doesn't work for anyone. Here's a klunky workaround; using a WAP browser (not IE, something like Klondike) point your WAP browser at http://mm.yahoo.com and you'll get the Mobile Messenger version used for cell phones and stuff. Not nearly as nice as the real thing, but functional.

Ok this isn't working for me. I need it to sync so that it'll save my e-mails onto my PPC and save outgoing e-mails until I sync. The Yahoo! channel doesn't include e-mail in it and pg1.yahoo.com as a custom channel doesn't let me log in.

Is there any way to do this?

Thanks rla for the tip. I checked into Klondike, unfortunately yahoo messenger is not worth $40 to use!!! :crooked:

Hopefully, PPC2003 will be better?

I don't know if the IE in PPC2003 does WAP browsing or not. I've been trying out Klondike and don't think it's worth $40 either, it's nag ware, so every so often it pops up a little ad for itself until you register it. Maybe someone can suggest a freeware WAP browser.

I've also had good luck using IMov and connecting to a Jabber server. It combines Yahoo Messenger, AIM, MSN in one. I only want Yahoo though...it would be sooo much easier if Yahoo release a working PPC IM application.

rla, it just so happens that I was looking for some IM software for MSN, yahoo and ICQ combined so your suggestion of IMov was very timely! Thanks.

I've installed it and it seems to work, but I'm quite disappointed that my yahoo, MSN and ICQ contacts are not automatically transferred over. Did I miss a step or is this the way it is?
