OK, so I finally got a PocketPC handheld. It's a Dell Axim x50 running Windows Mobile 2003 SE. Now I'm trying to use its wi-fi capabilities, and as of yet I've had no success. The thing says it's capable, oh yes. I've even gone as far as to read the directions, but I'll admit, I'm confused.
Like here, I have too many choices: the Dell WLAN utility, my Network Cards, and the Odyssey Client. Plus there's the My Connections tab...
Under Network Card, I have too many choices, too. I mean I think it would be the Dell Axim one... (*and I realize I need to switch to "connects to: work")
But then I can turn on the WLAN utility

and get things like this

and this
But then when I try to connect to the Internet, I'm told I can't connect with my settings, and it directs me to the connections tab
And through my school's computer site, they talk about the Odyssey client
But I'm not sure what's going on there. And since I run the x64 XP, I can't download the Odyssey client onto my computer. Oh, the fun!
I'm going to go to the school's computer help desk when I get a chance later this week, but in the meantime, any ideas?
