Do these screens burn in?

I'm just curious whether or not the x51v's screen can burn in. When I hold down the power button to dim display, the display stays on, and it's the same today screen.

I also have a program that keeps the display on and keeps the same screen up.

I'm really worried about the images getting burnt in. Is this possible?

Not really . LCD screens use a completely different technology than CRTs. You are fine leaving it on all the time.

LCD screens do not burn in at all. You do not need a screensaver, in fact they only waste battery in LCD devices that use them (such as cellphones).

While LCD use does not burn in, LSD use does in fact burn out!
