Dell TrueMobile: about a dozen posts on Aximsite saying the range stinks; drivers will probably be included with WM2003;
Linksys WCF12: I cannot remember anyone giving negative comments; it's less expensive especially if you keep an eye on the Hardware Bargains forum for rebates/sales; don't know about support for WM2003 yet.
There are other options for CF WiFi as well, but since you asked about these two...

Socket is the only one I know of that has actually announced drivers for WM2003. The only way I knew the Dell card has drivers that work is because they provided Chris (AximSiteAdmin) a TrueMobile card with his test unit for the Windows Mobile review he wrote. Of course, it's still a few weeks away before most of us will have the OS to be able to test but I've been trying to get answers from SMC and CageyJames has contacted Netgear and Linksys without any luck so far.
The Socket low power card is arguably the best card out there but it's also the most expensive. They do have a $40 MIR on at the moment.

Whats a $40 MIR? and why is socket the best?
yeah when i went to dell.com recently, when i go to the axim page, and press customize it, and select what i want from accessories, i cant see the dell TrueMobile Wifi Card under connectivity anymore, why?

MIR = Mail In Rebate
Thats quite a drop for the Socket card.
The socket card boasts great power consumption and range. Most everyone considers it the best available CF WiFi, and the most expensive. ;)

$40 Mail-In-Rebate. Socket doesn't protrude very much (compared to other cards) from the top of the Axim. Also, the range of the Socket is incredible. Finally, the Socket has a low-power design...so it is really good on battery life. And most importantly, as mentioned above, they released a Windows Mobile 2003 driver for their card on June 24th (just one day after the press releases for WM2003).....this shows that they have great support for their CF cards.

Uhh, i know its well worth it, but ive been calculating how much im gonna pay:
$325 AXIM X5
$69 Keyobard
$59 128MB SD Card
thats a $452 + $110 + $562 thats too much for a PPC, i can get a dell desktop for that price....
im confused...

But....can you fit that desktop in your pocket? You pay for size/convenience as well. Just think how this would be adding up if you'd gone for an iPaq.

For the mail-in rebate, there is a link on the socket webpage that will open a pdf file you can print. The instructions are on it but basically when you get the card, you make a copy of the sales receipt, cut the bar code off the package, and fill in the rebate form and send them all to the address on the rebate form. In a few weeks, you'll get a check for $40.
