Newbie aluminum case question.

I have noticed that all the aluminum cases (rhinoskin, pdair, generic), are all in a book layout rather than a flip layout. However, I have heard, although I can't find a single picture to back it up, that one of the book aluminum cases folds completely over, rather like the flip type. So the cover folds completely behind the case while inuse so you are holding something slightly bigger than the axim, rather than trying to hold a book.

I guess my question is whether or not such a creature exists, in an extended battery format, that would allow the top to fold completely behind the unit. I know there are any number of leather cases, both book and flip style, that would allow this and an extended battery, but I would really prefer the protection a hard case would provide.

The only thing I've heard that approaches what you're describing is the InnoPocket Magnum Case. It's made of magnesium instead of aluminum, so is lighter, but I don't know if this version supports an extended battery.

I have Innopocket's Magnum case, and it doesn't support the extended battery.

I have a nice new standard battery, but I'm thinking ahead, with as often as I recharge and as much as I use it, it will be probably a year to a year and half before I'm looking for new batteries, and will probably look at extended batteries then. I figured I'd have to go to a leather case, but then someone was telling me one of the aluminum ones folded like I wanted, so I thought I would check on that. :)

Especially since I feel way more secure having it in a hard case than I would in a leather one.
