as i still have to wait to get the axim in europe is it possible to try pocket 2000 software meanwhile on a ordinary PC or is the soft directly transferred to the pocket pc?

I don't believe you can. most of the software either somes with some type of install program which sends it to the ppc. When I've tried to run stuff off the desktop it never worked.

someone else may know of a way
