I just ordered the Dell Axim 400mhz. I have been using a Palm PDA (Palm IIIc) with the Palm Desktop software as my address book(with notes) and also the Palm MemoPad. I am Engineering equipment sales rep and I have been using these aplications quite extensively to store all my customer contacts, notes, lists of current equipment, etc. I also use the Palm MemoPad to store a lot of data such as price lists, etc. What is the best way to get all this information into transfered over to the Dell Axim? I know it uses Outlook. I have Outlook on my laptop but have not used it much. I have Act 2000 Software version #5.0 on my laptop that I can use but Iwould still need to get everything transfered to Act 2000 from the Palm applications. I think that Act is available for PDA's like the Dell Axim. Still the problem is I don't know how to get all my information transfered. Is there a software available that makes it easy to transfer my info over to the Dell Axim to either or both the Act for PDA or Outlook? If anyone can help I would really appreciate it? Has anyone used Act software on the Pocket PC? What is better to use Act or Outlook? Also, I would like an address data base on my Axim that I can do a search by name, city, zip, etc. and have it displayed on the Axim in that order. (like you can with Act 2000 on the desktop) Anyone know if this can be done?
Thanks, Rich
