Hi, I just purchased a dell aixm x51v, and I am wondering what if any ROM patches I need to install. I see things about A04 all the way to A12. Are these the updates that are on the dell website, or something completely different? Also are there any more fixes or updates that I should know about?

Yes A12 is a dell update. go to support on the dell web site to find updates

You may want to think carefully before applying updates: I'm not usually over cautious, but the old adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" is particularly pertinent to the Axim range.

I think I'm confused on this topic as well. I'm new to PDAs and own a Dell Axim x50v, but the latest ROM I see on the dell site is the A02, I don't see any A12 anywhere.

A02 is the latest rom update for wm5 on the X50V/X50

A12 is the latest rom update for the X51V/X51
