Is it possible to change the IP address of the Axim, if it's only USb cradle sync?
I used a prog vxUtil, to do an ipconfig, to check out what the IP address of the Axim is when it is synced through the cradle. The reason being, I wanted to be able to send little msg to my Axim, e.g. net send.... not sure if this is possible on PDA's. I've written a program that uses net send for PC's, and I want to try convert it for PDA's.
I don't have WiFi, or bluetooth, and I'm just using the "suposed" network through the cradle.
Because the Axim has a different network address to my computer's network, I can't ping the Axim from my PC, or vice versa.

I dont think that while cradled you can. It seems to me that when cradled the PDA is passing thru the PC its cradled to.
