I would like to have a way to access my work computer with my Axim when I am on the road. It seems the best way might be to use a CF Modem with my cell phone and get in using Terminal Services Client. Does anyone out there use this method now? Before I go and get the modem and adapter I would like to know if this is a good method to access my computer or if anyone has any other ideas. Thanks!
I use it to remote control my desktop PC's. I use it to send files from my desktop PC to the network printer or to move stuff to/from the network and my desktop while in meetings down the hall. It is difficult to navigate on a complex screen. I wouldn't try to code in Visual Studio on my desktop remotely.
As I stated in my LinkSys WCF12 review ( yes I wrote it and I know you guys hated it.. :P ), the best use for Terminal Service Client seems to be rebooting the machine in the emergencies, mostly for IT folks...
