Worried Lost memory on SD card after deleting files?????

Hi all,
Probably a very simple question / problem, but here goes.
I copied a heap of MP3's onto my SD card, under a sub folder under My Documents on the card, but then decided to delete the folder because it couldn't be read from. Now the card shows no files under My Documents, but I have still lost the 50mb. The card is 256mb, but is only showing up as 197mb with no files on it.
Any idea what I've done wrong, and how to fix it?
Thanx, Chris.

I've heard a lot of people have been having this same problem. You might want to try a search on the board.
The only thing I can think of to recommend is that you try formatting the card.

Let me guess, you have a Sandisk SD Card (could be a few other brand also) and on the back of the card the serial number begins with "AR03XXXX" from Taiwan?

Yeh, the card is a Sandisk, serial number is AR0304LR from China, but I hadn't had any probs with the card up untill now?
Raynne413 - is it possable to format the card whilst in the Axim cause I don't have a seperate card reader for my PC?

Yes, of course. Try Storage Tools or Flash Format. They both have demo versions, so you won't have to buy it for just this one time, unless you want to.
