The hard reset didn't help at all :( I have emailed Sandisk and am waiting to see what they have to say. It's just weird.. no problems with the Sandisk SD card, only the CF card. I don't have another brand of CF card that I can test, either.

This has only happened to me once. Oddly enough it was this morning when i placed my Axim in the craddle. It hasen't happened again, even when I placed it in my craddle at work. I hope you get yours straightened out.

Dell tech support sent me an email saying that the Axim does not support more than 128mg CF. :(

Just for the record, Dell is selling 1 GB CF cards as "customizable options" for new Axims.

I imagine that Tech Support is still reading an old memo that tells them that the largest CF card that Dell OFFERS with the Axim is 128 MB.

Thanks for the info. I have been searching my documentation for anything. Seeing as it is right on the website, I think that speaks louder than anything else :)

Don't scare me like that! :D I just ordered a 512 MB card. Oh yeah, I had the same problem AGAIN after I hard reset. I ended up having to pause for awhile after I reinstalled each item, and I haven't had any problems since. :) I am still paranoid about it, though. <_<
