I'm trying to figure out how to create subfolders in my "Photo Albums" on my Dell. Everytime I transfer a folder with pictures in it to my Dell it overwrites everything in the Photo Album folder. What I would like to do is have a couple of subfolders in the Photo Albums folder on my Dell. Can anyone help. Thanks.

The easiest way is to connect to a PC, use Activesync>Explore to go to where you and and just deal with that window the way you do on the PC.

The desktop idea is great if you have access (at home at the time?) If you need to do it on the fly, you can install one of the 3rd party file explorer apps. I struggled for a year on my J568 and then installed Resco file explorer 2003, much more usable than MS version, almost identical to working on a desktop. It makes it much easier (IMHO) to move files around, and create folders. Search Handango.com, or tucows.com for solutions that might help you.

Resco File Explorer is very good.

Another Explorer replacement that's almost as good is Total Commander CE. ZIP support, dual windows, etc... plus (best part) it's free.

Thanks for the info. I'm pretty new to all of this and so the going is slow. I'm trying to transfer the pictures during an active sync and no matter what folder I take it from on my desktop it puts it in the Photo Album folder on my Dell and overwrites whatever else is in there.

On another topic I've activated AvantGo and have it working on the Axim but I can't get any of the additional channels like mapquest, etc to show up on it. I've put them into my AvantGo account but they don't seem to be coming through during active sync. Appreciate the help.
