When ever i click the active sync button it goes to the program but nothing happens. so when i click sync. still nothing happens. so then i go to end current program and it says that the program is not responding. hmm this is wierd.

You don't have to tap on the sync button. it should be automatic.

are you running a firewall, i had a similar problem until i uninstaled my firewall, uninstalled the axim and activesynch and reinstalled them.

i am sorta. i'm running a Lynksys router that has a built in firewall what port does the axim use so i can turn it on.

I have to perform a soft reset everytime I synch. I used to just pop it in the cradle and it would synch up no problem. Now I put it in and Activesynch can't find it until I softreset. Not a show stopper but damn inconvenient.
