I just bought myself an Axim and was wondering if it would be worth it to set up a home wireless network... I know new WAP's cost like 90$.... would it be possible for me to stream music from my desktop onto my axim? also what else would i need in addition to the wap? (I already have a pci card for my desktop and cat5 cables)

You would also need a CF WiFi card for your Axim. If your desktop is colse to your WAP then you really dont need that PCI card for your comp. Most Wireless routers come with built in switches so you could just connect the desktop right into the back of the router.

I tried out the Wifi for the Axim and found out it was easier to go to the desktop for a bigger screen and quicker functions.
