Well, you know how when you have the reminder it plays the sound, and repeats getting louder. I somehow managed to screw that up and now the most I can get is 1 round at a set volume, if I'm lucky. I have all reminder boxes checked. Meaning Start<Setting<Sounds&Notif<Programs(checked) and Notif(checked) and on the Notif tab, I have reminders set to play sound Alarm4.

I really need to have that escalating and repeating thing back, I'm soo lost as to reminders with out it. Help, please!

Go to start > settings > sounds
Then you have the notifications tab where you see a drop down menu. Change the event to Reminders and pick your sound. You can preview each one.
Then hit Ok in the upper right corner and that should work. Test it by making a false task or appointment.

I've tried that several times. As I said, the most I'll get is the sound will play once(like when previewing, it only plays once).
