help backing up

i was going to do a system backup so i went to the program, closed all programs includingswicher bar then made sure i had the memory on my cf card. after all of that i clicked start and it went until it gets to around 84% then it says "caution" error backing up data any help? i have a 300 mhz with AO2 if it helps thx in advance

I have two suggestions. 1) Try doing it through the Activesync backup. It is slower, but it might work when the other doesn't. 2) I recieved the same error a couple times (I think when I had the A02 ROM, before I got A03), and a soft reset fixed it. I could only backup after a soft reset, even if all programs were closed.

Pocket Backup! I had problems with Active Sync backup, so I bought Pocket Backup. It is a great little app! You can backup to your PC or to a card. The backup is stored as a self-extracting file. That sure does come in handy when your Axim gets wiped and you are nowhere near your PC ;).
