Which one?
Hello, I'm not an Axim owner (or even a PPC owner) *yet*. I plan on getting an Axim very soon. Which one do you think I should get? I want it to last a while, that means not being *too* obsolete in a year. I already have several registered games (AOE, Doom, etc.). Which do you think would suit me better-the Basic or Advanced? Is there that much difference between them without taking into account memory? I have heard the 300 and 400 MHz processors are basically the same. And with SD, I am pretty much unlimited on storage. (SD for memory, CF for WiFi).

Comments please...

Personal opinion only but having had a Compaq Areo ( 75mhz ) and a Toshiba 330 ( 200mhz ).. in the PDA market get the fastest you can. Memory is not much an issue as you know since you can expand.

When dealing with games faster processor speed is better. As far as apps like excel or word or even the outlook you will not see much difference, but viewing video, pictures or even sound will be improved with the better CPU speeds.

If your trying to stay in a budget then get the 300mhz as it is still a very good device.

Think about how long you plan to own it. If it's going to be a while, opt for the most speed you can afford. On the other hand, 3rd party apps allow you to overclock so a slower processor could run faster...
