Purchased a SanDisk SD 256MB today - expected to see 256MB free.

Axim 5 reports 0 MB in use, 241.13 MB free

Is there a logical explaination for this?

A few weeks ago I added a SanDisk 256MB CF to a clients NEC 790 and it reported the expected size


Other than that - this unit works as advertised, a pleasure to use

256 before formatting, 241 after. As for the 790, it lied. :D
