Question Temp files and unidentifiable files

Temp:
Under My Device, one of the folders is Temp, can I delete everything in there? If they are temp internet files, I know I can, but is that what they are? Not some windows temp files?

Unidentifiable:
I wasn't good about organizing files and folders as I began (didn't realize I could, at the time) so there are a lot of files under My Documents, that I can't identify. I can't open them. If they had file extensions, I could look them up but they look like this:
0000ende
0000hwnd
00hCUndo
opvbload
MSCETA~1

Also, the ones I recognize as having something to do with a particular program, can I copy or cut and paste into the program folder with no ill effect?

Thanks for any help you can provide,

Bette

I believe you can safely delete any temp files. If you want to do it systematically, try SpeedClean

As for program files, I don't think it's wise to just move them around unless you're sure you know what you're doing. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can comment more on this.

I delete all of the temp files in my folder regularly.

thanks, I deleted the temp files and all is fine so far. I did find that internet temp files are in a different location so those were window temp files.

Now I just need to determine what all those individual weird files are hanging out in my documents.

I don't know about moving the program file itself, but you could choose copy, go to programs and choose paste shortcut. You won't be moving the actual file, but you will have a shortcut to the program.
